Jorge Rubi - Board Member

Jorge Rubi is currently the U.S. Vice President for the Eastern Division of Pitney Bowes Global Services & Support.  Jorge was appointed Vice President in July of 2018 and is responsible for all Field Service Delivery for the Eastern Division of the U.S., which extends from Michigan to Mississippi. Jorge directly works with nine Customer Service Managers and more than 240 employees who support and help retain over $65M in SLA revenue alone. Jorge is most passionate about Employee Engagement and inspiring others to embrace change the way he does.  He focuses on driving a culture of empowerment and engagement so that all PB employees help retain and grow our current clients and discover new opportunities for PB to expand its footprint and achieve success.     

Jorge began his career at Pitney Bowes in September 2001 as a Field Solutions Specialist installing our software solutions. Jorge then served as a Customer Service Manager in two occasions: January 2003 – December 2012 for the Miami and Jacksonville Districts and then again between August 2016 – June 2018 managing the entire Florida Region for both SMB and DMT.  Jorge also served as North America Technical Service Manager January 2013 – July 2016 before returning to the field management team.  

Before joining Pitney Bowes, Jorge worked in a number of different client-facing roles with several financial institutions including Chase & Bank of America.  Jorge has spent more than 30 years providing exceptional customer service in every role he inhabited.

Jorge has a Bachelor’s Degree in IT from Barry University in Miami, Florida.  Born and raised in Miami, Florida, Jorge is the youngest of five brothers and one sister whose parents migrated from Cuba in the 1960’s during the Freedom Flights.  Jorge is fluent in English and Spanish (verbal and written).

Philanthropically, Jorge supports St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital with annual donations.
